Workspaces

Workspaces let you organize your AI interactions around specific projects. Group related chats and documents together, invite teammates to collaborate, and chat with the AI in a shared, threaded context — everyone working from the same information.

What is a Workspace?

A Workspace is a project folder with a shared context. It contains:

  • Chats — threaded AI conversations relevant to the project
  • Documents — files and context assigned to the workspace
  • Team members — collaborators who share the same AI context
  • Threaded discussions — structured AI conversations scoped to the project

Think of it as a project room where the AI already knows the background, and your team can pick up the conversation where anyone left off.

Creating a Workspace

Open the Workspaces panel

Navigate to Workspaces in the sidebar (or use the Workspaces icon).

Create a new workspace

Click + New Workspace and give it a name — typically a project, client, or initiative.

Add context

Assign existing chats, upload documents, or link files as context for this workspace. The AI uses this context when answering questions inside the workspace.

Invite collaborators

Add team members by name or email. They’ll see the workspace and can participate in threaded chats with the shared context.

Threaded AI chat

Inside a Workspace, conversations are threaded — meaning the AI maintains continuity across the whole team’s input, not just your own messages. Multiple teammates can ask follow-up questions and the AI builds on the full shared context.

Workspaces are ideal for: client projects, product launches, ongoing research, or any initiative where multiple people need shared AI context.

Assigning documents as context

Documents assigned to a workspace become part of the shared knowledge base the AI draws from. You can assign:

  • Uploaded files (PDFs, Word docs, spreadsheets)
  • SharePoint documents (if SharePoint is connected)
  • AI-generated Cards from previous chats

The AI prioritizes workspace context when answering questions inside that workspace. This makes answers more relevant and specific to your project.
