Onboarding Walkthrough
When you first sign up (or join a new organization), Suprvisr walks you through a quick 3-step setup. This takes about 60 seconds and significantly improves your experience.
The 3-Step Flow
Step 1 — Welcome & Your Name
The first screen greets you with an animated welcome message: “Hey there, welcome to Suprvisr AI.”
Below the greeting, you’ll see a text field asking: “What should I call you?”
Enter your preferred name — this is how the AI will address you in conversation. It doesn’t have to match your account name; use whatever feels natural.
Click Continue when ready.
Step 2 — Your Role
Select the role that best describes your work:

| Developer / Engineer | Writing code, debugging, technical docs |
| Product Manager | Roadmaps, specs, stakeholder updates |
| Designer / Marketer | Creative briefs, copy, design feedback |
| Other | General use, mixed responsibilities |
Your role determines which example prompts you see and how the AI contextualizes its answers.
Step 3 — Platform Highlights
A quick tour of what Suprvisr can do:
- AI Chat — Ask anything, get instant answers
- Role-aware responses — Tailored to your job function
- Feature Board — Share feedback directly with the team
- Personalization — Update your preferences anytime
Click Get Started to enter the app.
Redoing Onboarding
Want to update your name or role? You can redo the onboarding at any time:
- Click Settings in the bottom-left sidebar
- Go to the Personalization tab
- Click Redo Onboarding
Redoing onboarding resets your role and preferred name. Your chat history is not affected.
